The stencil itself
Relief is a location, not a nickname.
A toe stencil on this spur is a chalked patch: where the far corner meets Bennett Valley grain, and how much metal has to leave so fog does not turn that patch into a dive.
We ink the sole, we hit a short tray of local turf we keep honest with Laguna moisture, and we read the stain. If the stain crowds the toe, the car is high. If the stain never reaches it, the car is low. The stencil is that stain, not a letter from a box.
High-toe cars get a mapped scoop that stops at the stain's edge. Low-toe cars keep stock. A catalog stencil that ignores the stain gets parked, not 'blended a little' as a kindness.
